It’s almost St.Patrick’s Day…one of my favorite days of the year. I am half Irish, but in my heart, I’m 100%.  Both my maternal grandparents were born and raised in Ireland, and I am determined to go back there someday. I am beyond proud of my heritage, and I remind my children of it constantly.

The older I get, the more I believe in fate. I really think things happen for a reason.

Yesterday, a public affairs officer from the U.S. military in Afghanistan connected with me on LinkedIn. I immediately messaged him to thank him for what he is doing for our country.
