Recently, I asked one of my employees when she was born. I nearly had a heart attack. She was born the year I graduated high school. Yikes… I’m only 40 but that makes me feel really old. How can she be so young? And most importantly, can she really handle the pressure at a public relations agency? Is she actually going to work hard? Will she feel entitled?
It’s been almost three months since New Year’s Day. Did you make a resolution? Have you kept it? According to Forbes, only about 8% of people keep their resolutions. I say forget resolutions. Make goals…realistic, achievable goals.
2015 has been a whirlwind of a year. Last year at this time, I NEVER would have thought that I would be where I am now. If you told me that I would be going to New York City to tape on Dr.OZ and MSNBC, I would have called you crazy. It’s surreal. More like unreal. I know that it didn’t happen because of luck. I know that it happened because of a variety of things. I am here to say that hard work and persistence pays off. I am here to say that you can do anything that you put your mind to.
A recent study came out that more children will come down with anxiety issues and act out due to their parents being on smart phones. Great.
