Have you ever called someone and when they don’t answer, you text them? How about if you send an email, then you send a text saying, I just emailed you?I’m guilty of both of these things and being a “little” impatient.
2015 has been a whirlwind of a year. Last year at this time, I NEVER would have thought that I would be where I am now. If you told me that I would be going to New York City to tape on Dr.OZ and MSNBC, I would have called you crazy. It’s surreal. More like unreal. I know that it didn’t happen because of luck. I know that it happened because of a variety of things. I am here to say that hard work and persistence pays off. I am here to say that you can do anything that you put your mind to.
When people ask me what I do and I tell them I’m in public relations, their reaction is all very similar. It goes something like this, “Ohhhh…that sounds exciting.” PR is exciting – I love it. But, for many folks, that seems to be all they know about it. In addition, somehow PR gets meshed into the job category of marketing and communications. Well, it’s not either of those.
